Balance Sheet Manager NN Leven

Drive the capital generation of NN Leven in a dynamic environment together with enterprising and high performing colleagues and work at the center of the largest Life insurer in the Netherlands.

What are you going to do?

Working within the BSM & Reinsurance team, means that you are the strategic advisor of the Management Team of NN Leven on numerous topics related to the performance and risk profile of NN Leven its balance sheet. Together with your BSM & Reinsurance colleagues you are driving capital and liquidity management, balance sheet optimization and reinsurance, how exciting is that? Topics the team covers are amongst others, asset-liability management, capital projections, hedging strategies of various market risks, defining the strategic asset allocation, reinsurance (managing existing and set-up of new covers, as we have done in 2023 (NN Life completes two longevity transactions (nn-group.com)) and supporting growth initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

• You will be challenged to grasp all of the finesses of the balance sheet of NN and its risk profile to identify and explain the key developments and advice on further optimizations possibilities for the Management Team of NN Leven and NN Group
• Depending on your interest and expertise, you will be invited in supporting on the various balance sheet management related topics which will allow you to develop yourself in this exciting field

• Salary between between €3.783,- and €5.405,- depending on your knowledge and experience

What you bring

• 1-3 years of experience working within a financial institution, or a consultancy firm
• You combine strong analytical skills with a helicopter view
• Preferably you have master degree in economics, or in mathematics or equivalent
• You are capable to translate complex & detailed information to key management observations
• You are pro-active & decisive, willing to run the extra mile and you are a great organizer and manager of deadlines
