SAP Security & GRC Consultant

NN (Nationale Nederlanden) uses SAP for financial, customer and policy administrations for NN business units as well as group support functions. The platform is delivered by the central Group IT function to the various business and functional units. NN Group IT is a central IT organization which supports the business units with enterprise IT services. The Enterprise Application Services (EAS) department within Group IT, delivers SAP platform, client administration and core financial services to the NN SAP community.

The SAP GRC Consultant within NN will function as a guard for the current security controls impacting the current operational teams, advising them on improvements and processes. You help to create and maintain the foundation of a secure technology platform that runs most of our business applications.

But apart from maintaining the security and reliability of the teams on the SAP platform, you also help on creating stable processes on reliability & security that will steer NN into the future.

What you are going to do

Group IT delivers a broad set of services around the NN SAP platform to the NN business units and NN group support functions (e.g., Group Finance). Although these business units and functional units are functionally responsible for the SAP modules they use, the delivery of the platform is centralized. This platform is hosted on the public cloud. You will be responsible for guiding and guarding the further growth and usage of this platform. Examples of current topics are security, APIs, data integration and the use of SAP S4/HANA.

• You constantly monitor the current state of the security of the SAP Landscape, and act on the gaps, often by predicting future requirements of both our clients and the ever-changing laws and regulations NN needs to abide by
• Proactively support the SAP eco-system and related services provided by Group IT
• You contribute to our technological decision-making process and strategy
• You help to create a firm and stable foundation our DevOps teams can build on
• To act as custodians of the SAP eco-system, making sure that incoming requests are assessed and doublechecked with the security officers and middleware specialists

Who you are

In order to be successful in this challenging role you are a professional SAP Basis Consultant with a bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or computer science.

You are SAP certified, preferably as Basis Professional, with 7+ years of experience with SAP platforms. Broad knowledge of the SAP platform is self-evident, including Hana, Netweaver, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Gateway, SAP API Manager, etc.Knowledge and experience with SAP for Insurance modules is preferred.

You have experience in SAP architecture and knowledge of and experience with at least two SAP Databases: SAP HANA and Sybase ASE.

The role is all about cooperation, so you are expected to have excellent communication skills to effectively work together at various layers of our organization, like the engineers in the DevOps teams, the managers of those teams, the product owners as well as the business architects within NN.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Security & GRC
• Should be able to fulfil operational activities related to SAP ERP, BW, GRC and HANA
• Willingness to take ownership and can independently perform his/her operational responsibilities
• Proactive in picking up tasks and driving to competition
• Proficiency in Dutch and English

Who you will work with

You will be a member of a DevOps team that covers all services delivered by Group IT, but most of your time you will be working closely together with the DevOps teams that are responsible for the actual service delivery and the architects of the business units that use the SAP Platform.
